Establishment of Beijing International Pickleball Center at the World Expo Park

The Beijing International Pickleball Center has been officially launched in Beijing to promote the culture of pickleball. Pickleball is a competitive sport that involves hitting a ball with a paddle and it is characterized by high level of entertainment and attractiveness. It combines the intense competition of tennis, the spin of table tennis, and the agility of badminton, making it suitable for players of all ages.

The Beijing International Pickleball Center, located within the Yanging International Exhibition Center, is the largest and most prestigious pickelball competition site in Beijing. It currently has 21 standard competition pickleball courts and can accommodate more than 100 players simultaneously, fully meeting the requirements of international competition standards.

The Beijing International Pickleball Center will hold 3-5 national level pickleball events and one international event this year. Leveraging the impact of high-level events, it will promote the rapid popularization of pickleball culture, spread the concept of "active lifestyle," and infuse vitality to the World Expo Park, creating a landmark for mass sports culture in Yangqing district. The establishment of the Beijing International Pickleball Center marks the progress of pickleball towards standardization and scale.
